5 Phrases That Can Ruin Your Life .

When You Hear These Run The Other Way!!

When you hear them, there’s one message: things are not quite right here!

1.  "We Dunno"  -“Our visibility into the quarter is a little fuzzy” – translation: “I have no idea.” If you hear this or a variation thereof, alarms should go off in your head. It’s often used when sales just fell off a cliff and those responsible don’t have a clue why. Layoffs are next!

2.    " Fool' Em"! - “We need to manage the optics of this.” If you have any ethics, this one should make you squirm. This is an updated version of “We need to pull the wool over their eyes.” Or more bluntly: “How can we lie about this in a way they will believe?” Make sure not to be the scapegoat when those lies are exposed!

3. " Is Greed Good? " - “Don’t leave money on the table.” This one should set off your ethical alarms, too. Study the situation asking yourself if the company is actually saying: “We are dealing with naïve people who we can exploit. Let’s be as greedy as possible.” Is this a place where you want to spend the rest of your life?

4. " Phoney Baloney" -  “We’re getting some push back.” Careful! This is often a code for “They’re not buying the baloney we dished up.” Watch for your company's response. Do they try to fix the problems that caused the person to “push back”? Or does the company just shovel more baloney? Is that how they're going to treat you?

5. " In The Loop "  -  “We’ll loop you in when we need to.” Pay attention when you’re told this one. It can mean: “You’re going to be left out of the discussions while we take credit for your ideas.”

It can also mean: “We are far too timid to try your ideas.” This is a strong signal to ponder your future. You want the opportunity to sell your ideas to decision-makers, not be left out of the discussion. You also want to work in an environment where you will be permitted to make your ideas succeed.

If you are being left out, you need to look elsewhere where your creativity can be better utilized!

Four Ways To Stay Positive In A Negative World

A friend asked me: “How do you stay optimistic when the world seems to be going so badly?” It’s a question I’ve asked myself. How can I continue to believe in goodness, when there is so much evil in the world? How can I be happy when my friends are suffering? For two years I worked in Afghanistan, witnessing a seemingly endless parade of human suffering an injustice. One day I asked an Afghan colleague how he could keep believing things would improve, when the signs seemed so bad. “What choice do I have?” he replied. “I don’t know what the future holds. So why not believe it will get better? It motivates me to keep working and makes my life bearable.” After the 9/11 attacks a young boy asked his grandfather what would happen to the world. The grandfather said there were two wolves fighting inside his heart. One was vengeful and full of anger, ready to strike out against the ‘enemy’. The other wolf was filled with love and belief in the basic goodness of all, ready to seek peace. The grandson asked, “Which wolf will win the fight?” His grandfather answered, “The one I choose to feed.” In Afghanistan I was very aware of the two wolves in my heart. One was angry and defeated by endless suffering and violence, ready to give up. I didn’t want that wolf to win. But how do we feed the right wolf? Here are four ways to stay positive in a negative world.

Are Angels Real ? Captivating Story . Do You Beleive ?

Rose Benvenuto swerved to avoid hitting a dog and ended up in a severe accident. Amazingly she survived, but what was captured in the photo near the wreckage was fascinating. Benvenuto saw her guardian angel and said the proof is in the photographs. " Only my guardian angel could have saved me from such an accident"

I BELEIVE IN GUARDIAN ANGELS AND I ALSO BELEIVE THAT EVERY ONE HAS ONE , I ALSO BELEIVE THAT THE CLOSER IN RELATIONSHIP YOU GET WITH GOD THE MORE HE REVEALS HIM SELF TO YOU.

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

There Is Only One God He Is The Only One With The Authority To dictate Ones Life PLEASE LET HIM DO HIS JOB HE DOES NOT NEED MANS HELP! LEAVE JAHI ALONE!

LEAVE " JAHI " ALONE!! LET GODS WILL BE DONE

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — A judge on Tuesday ordered that a 13-year-old Northern California girl declared brain dead after suffering complications following a tonsillectomy be taken off life support.
But Alameda County Superior Court Judge Evelio Grillo gave Jahi McMath's family until 5 p.m. Dec. 30 to file an appeal. She will stay on life support until then.
Grillo issued the order after a Stanford doctor testified that Jahi is brain dead. Dr. Paul Graham Fisher's evaluation was the second to reach that conclusion.
Children's Hospital of Oakland, where Jahi is hospitalized, has asked that the girl be taken off life support after doctors there also concluded she was brain dead.
Her family has said it believes she is still alive and that the hospital should not remove her from the ventilator without its permission.
Hospital lawyers disagree.
"Because Ms. McMath is dead, practically and legally, there is no course of medical treatment to continue or discontinue; there is nothing to which the family's consent is applicable," the hospital said in a court filing on Tuesday.
Fisher first provided his opinion to Grillo behind closed doors Tuesday morning. Fisher briefly provided his conclusions in open court that Jahi has no brain activity. Fisher left court without taking questions
Dr. Robin Shanahan, a Children's Hospital doctor, was next called to testify in the judge's chambers.
Grillo has previously ordered Jahi to remain on life support until Dec. 30, or until further order from the court.
Jahi was declared brain dead after experiencing complications following a tonsillectomy at Children's Hospital.
The judge on Monday had called for Jahi to be independently examined by Fisher, the chief of child neurology at Stanford University School of Medicine.
On Dec. 12, doctors concluded the girl was brain dead and since then have wanted to remove her from life support. Jahi's family wants to keep her hooked up to a respirator and eventually have her moved to another facility.
They failed her," said Sandra Chatman, Jahi's grandmother and a registered nurse, who sat in Grillo's courtroom for more than three hours Tuesday during the closed door testimony. "Jahi could have been saved."
Miracles happen," Chatman added.
The family's attorney, Christopher Dolan, said he would file an emergency appeal to keep Jahi on life support if the trial judge orders her removal from the ventilator.
Dolan also wants a third evaluation done by Dr. Paul Byrne, a pediatric professor at the University of Toledo. The hospital's attorney objected to Byrne, saying he is not a pediatric neurologist.
Byrne is the co-editor of the 2001 book "Beyond Brain Death," which presents a variety of arguments against using brain-based criteria for declaring a person dead.
In a phone interview, Byrne said he could not comment in detail because he had not seen any of Jahi's medical records. But the fact that her ventilator is still functioning properly is a sign that she is alive, he said.
"The ventilator won't work on a corpse," he said. "In a corpse, the ventilator pushes the air in, but it won't come out. Just the living person pushes the air out."
Jahi's family says the girl bled profusely after a tonsillectomy and then went into cardiac arrest before being declared brain dead.
Outside the courtroom on Monday, Dr. David Durand, chief of pediatrics at Children's, said staff have the "deepest sympathy" for the family, but that Jahi is brain dead.
"The ventilator cannot reverse the brain death that has occurred and it would be wrong to give false hope that Jahi will ever come back to life," he said.
Durand said Jahi's surgery was "very complex," not simply a tonsillectomy.
"It was much more complicated than a tonsillectomy," Durand said. He refused to elaborate, citing health care privacy laws.
Arthur L. Caplan, who leads the Division of Medical Ethics at NYU Langone Medical Center and is not involved in Jahi's case, told The Associated Press that once brain death has been declared, a hospital is under no obligation to keep a patient on a ventilator.
"Brain death is death," he said, adding, "They don't need permission from the family to take her off, but because the little girl died unexpectedly and so tragically, they're trying to soften the blow and let the family adjust to the reality.
